In the Community
An essential part of our mission to Connect the Community through Great Live Music is to reach members of our community through our education and community engagement programs. These efforts focus on education opportunities for youth and adults, engagement with populations that are underserved or have special needs, and humanities partnerships with other organizations in our community.
Statewide Service
- Each year, Utah Symphony | Utah Opera reaches 400,000 people throughout Utah.
- In the 2022-23 season, we served residents of all 29 Utah counties.
- Many of our education programs and performances are presented free of charge.

Educational Impact
USUO education programs serve over 100,000 students across the state each year, helping students of all ages develop lifelong skills, including:

An annual concert for individuals with sensory sensitivities, disabilities, and their families.

A collaboration between Utah Opera, the Moran Eye Center, and the Utah Council for the Blind.
